Standard Contest Rules: All contests are limited to users of the East Bay Newspapers, East Bay Living Magazine and eastbayri.com, our sponsors and affiliates. Employees of East Bay Newspapers (Phoenix Times Publishing) are not allowed to enter any contests the company sponsors. The mechanism for contest entry may vary but will be explained in full in the advertising for the contest. Unless specified, you must be 18 years old to enter and provide a picture ID to claim any prizes awarded. Contest entries are limited to one per person unless otherwise stated. In the event that entries are taken on line, the ability to multiply an entry can be detected by our system and all but one entry will be discarded. Employees of advertisers or others whose merchandise is featured in contests or that are sponsors of a contest are not allowed to enter the contests with which they are involved. Winners will be notified by phone, mail and/or email of their winning and how to retrieve their prize. In most instances, prize winners will be asked to appear in person at the One Bradford Street, Bristol offices of East Bay Newspapers to claim their prize. Prize winners may not win more than one contest in a twelve month period. If the prize package awarded has a value of more than $600.00 a 1099 form will be filled out by the winner in order for taxes to be paid.
