Mount Hope Farm
Enter Mount Hope Farm at the designated parking area (500 feet south of main entrance) off Route 136. This historic 200-acre setting features walks by farmlands, wetlands, farm buildings, ponds and spillways to picturesque Church Cove on Mount Hope Bay. Walking the trails and along the shore provides guests and visitors to the farm an environmental, historical and educational experience. Roundtrip distance: 2.5 to 3 miles. Audubon Society of RI Environmental Education Center
From the Audubon Center on Rt. 114, walk west though cornfield toward the shoreline. Enter the boardwalk that takes you over the salt marsh to Narragansett Bay. Boardwalk can also be accessed from the East Bay Bike Path. 401-245-7500. www.asri.org
